About Mothers Out Front
Mothers Out Front is a national organization of mothers, grandmothers, and caregivers who are mobilizing to protect our children from the worst impacts of climate change and environmental harm. Founded in 2013, the network has grown to chapters in dozens of states, organizing at the local, state, and federal level.
Our Prince George's County chapter is part of this national network, applying Mothers Out Front's proven community organizing model to the specific challenge of unchecked Big Tech infrastructure expansion in our region.

Safety-First Technologists
Engineers, researchers, and tech workers who believe AI development should proceed — but only with robust safety standards, environmental review, and democratic oversight.
Environmental Advocates
Climate and environmental justice organizations concerned about the energy, water, and land footprint of data center expansion, particularly in overburdened communities.
Community Residents
Neighbors, parents, and local leaders who live near proposed or existing data centers and want a meaningful voice in decisions that affect their health and quality of life.
Labor & Workers
Workers in the tech industry and adjacent sectors who believe that the pace of AI deployment should not outrun the ability of workers and communities to adapt.
Precautionary Voices
Those who believe the risks of advanced AI systems are not yet well understood and that a formal pause is warranted until independent safety assessments are complete.
Advocates for a Ban
Those who believe certain applications of AI — particularly in surveillance, weapons, and critical infrastructure — should be prohibited outright, not merely regulated.
